This design was introduced in 1917 and continued until the end of the series. Most coins have striking problems. The points to check include the head of Miss Liberty, the center of the standing figure, and the shield on the obverse and the eagle’s breast on the reverse. Mint State coins are available for most dates but Full Details coins can be very rare.
