Coin number: MC209

Description: Heraldic Eagle (1798-1804), Designer - Engraver: Robert Scot, Metal Composition: 89% Silver - 11% Copper, Diameter: 39.5 mm, Mass: 26.96 grams

The design on this coin is very similar to the one on other silver coins of the time. Most coins have some issues with light striking. The points to check include the hair of Miss Liberty, the drapery, and the star centers on the obverse as well as the shield, the clouds, and the eagle on the reverse.
